Can Do Descriptors are a tool to help educators identify skills English Learners (EL) can accomplish at their various level of English development. By using the Can Do Descriptors, teachers can work with language learners in an academic environment to meet them where they are and challenge them to learn and grow, expanding their English and grade-level academic knowledge across different contents and social-emotional areas within the school.
