In our 9-11th grade Spanish classes, students engage in a dynamic learning experience aimed at achieving higher levels of linguistic and cultural proficiency through the SAVVAS textbooks curriculum. As they progress in their studies, they will utilize online resources, including the Realize platform, to access interactive learning activities that enhance their language skills. In addition, students will implement supplementary tools like IXL and Quizizz to reinforce their understanding and challenge themselves further. Throughout the year, fun and interactive cultural projects will immerse them in the diverse traditions and practices of Spanish-speaking communities, fostering a deeper appreciation for the language and its cultural context. Together, these elements create a rich and engaging environment that inspires students to excel in their Spanish studies. Students that may want to challenge themselves can sign up for the honor level class and if accepted they can do the Advance Placement course.
